Mention the word Spiritualism and people instantly conjure up images of people sat round a table holding hands in a dim room.  Séances and Ouija boards spring to mind also but this is definitely not what Spiritualism is about.

So what is Spiritualism ?

Spiritualism is a way of life which we all abide by out of choice.  Being spiritual is not just about going to Church and worshipping God, it is about being loving, compassionate, caring and forgiving, not only towards others but also towards yourself. 

It is true there are Spiritual Churches where you can go where Jesus hardly get a mention and yet others where you can worship YOUR God or whatever you wish to know Him/Her/It by.
Then there is what some people class as normal churches where they worship their own Gods known by many names yet snub their nose's at spiritualism!
but you don't have to go to church or to be a spiritual person to worship/praise your God. 

So what is Spirit ?

The spirit sometimes known as the soul is the real you, the essence of all you are, have been and always will be.  That is a bit of a mouthful but don't go away I will try to explain.

We all come from somewhere, I call that place the world of spirit, although we originate from the divine source or God as I call it (God is neither male or female, God just is, that is my opinion and I'm not saying I'm right or wrong).  This is where we come from when we are born and go to when we die, or Pass over, as there is no such thing as death, just a new beginning.  When we are conceived our spirit enters what we call the body, if someone would like to suggest at what stage this happens please feel free to e-mail Me.  There will be those that do not agree with what I am about to say, but I am not saying I am right or wrong, this is just as I see things.  Once in the body we forget where we have come from and why we are here.  We live a life on this planet (or other planet/dimension/plane of existence) for a set period of time, experiencing things we need for our spirit to evolve further in its development.  Those things can be anything that could happen in our lives, including all the good and bad things.

What about Mediums and Ghosts and things ?

An article on Mediumship is covered on this site, and so is Ghosts.  These two items are such large subjects, and Mediums don't just communicate with Ghosts, also I will try to explain what Ghosts are on our Ghost page.
